SOUTH CAROLINA TUITION GRANT
Because the State of South Carolina offsets the cost of all students who attend state public colleges, the states Legislative Assembly decided it would be equitable to financially assist eligible South Carolinians who prefer to attend one of South Carolina's twenty-one participating independent/private colleges. The application for a South Carolina Tuition Grant is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students can apply online by clicking on the word FAFSA anywhere in this section. Upon submission of the FAFSA and selection of the Allen University school code 003417, the Commission will use your application information to determine your eligibility for a South Carolina Tuition Grant. Since South Carolina Tuition Grants are available only to legal residents of South Carolina, students and parents should be sure to accurately complete all questions on the FAFSA regarding state residency. Award Amount: Up to $3,200.00

* NOTE: In-state residents who apply before June 30th may be eligible for state grants.
